Slated

Welcome! This post marks the first of many that will trace our progress through all the production phases associated with creating a short animated film.

First came the basic idea and overall concept then we had to convince people it was a solid idea- the Pitch. Our pitch documents can be found here and they include a full breakdown of the idea, motivations, inspirations and where we see this project heading in the future.

Once the Pitch was given and it had been approved, there was a sigh of relief then a crash of confidence in the reality that we would actually have to make this thing. After picking myself off the floor and regrouping I began to think about the practicalities and all the items that had to be done. Our first task, to quote another animator is to 'worshop the shit out of this idea,' and its true. No time to be precious or over sensitive, we've got to put all that aside- be professional and work towards creating the best short film that we can; and with the talented team that we have assembled, I am confident that this will happen.
