Perfecting the Story

The last few production meetings have centred around the script and the vision for the project. Honing the story into a workable animated piece is taking longer than anticipated, but we would rather have all the issues worked out now than finding ourselves lost in an over detailed and overblown epic story with a cast of thousands.

After reworking the script and writing it as a narrative, the story was then given to our storyboard artist, Amy who will storyboard an intitial treatment and then we will work from that basis to economise visuals and tell the story in the most dynamic way possible- reboarding reboarding and more reboarding.

One of the things that has really helped us capture the essence of the story is a clarification on where we see the project moving towards and in particular the style we believe will best compliment our vision, more on that in posts coming soon.

Since our story has evolved, we thought it best to redo our promotional board on lvl 5, photos to come soon!

In keeping with the evolutionary process of the project, ideas for the character design are also changing and will continue to change as we move past each phase of storyboarding and reboarding.
